For today's Free for All challenge, to use the most RECENT thing you purchased that you have NOT used yet. I purchased this sweet lamb rubber stamp from Repeat Impressions recently, wanting to have it on hand to use for an SCS friend who loves sheep. I figured I wouldn't ink it up for a while (her birthday just passed), but her first granddaughter (third grandchild) was just born a few days ago and I wanted to send a card to congratulate her! This challenge was timed perfectly.
I was also able to use the colors for the 100th Color Throwdown Challenge: regal rose, certainly celery, real red, and baja breeze. The sketch is for the current Limelights Papercrafts challenge, and I turned this into an aperture card for the Stamptacular Sunday challenge.
***I just realized that with the Limelight challenge, there was supposed to be background stamping, too. I had made a note of this, but somehow forgot while I was planning out my card!! I'm sure it had *nothing* to do with the fact that I was stamping with my kids . . . distractions abound. So sorry, Mandy!! Maybe the stamping I did inside the card for my aperture can be considered "background stamping" for this challenge . . .

What a darling image....and so perfect for a friend who loves sheep. I have a friend like that too. I'd tell you how it started, but that kind of stuff on the site is a no-no!! A little more humid today..we were out all morning, going from AC to AC. The only way to live thru it!!! Keep cool!

EEEEee YI YI, Emzi, I find the most awesome things while I am commenting on cards....could this be mine? I just had a birthday and a precious, little granddaughter. This is the most precious card with that little lamb peeking through your opening. Love your threaded ribbon, just as darling as it gets. I'll be an 'Izzy' and be waiting by the mailbox.
