When I won the lovely Humming Along set from Flourishes in their last release, DH was really pleased (not just me ) because he is making an origami humming bird as a birthday gift for a work colleague, and he said I could make a matching humming bird card. So this is it. I would have gone for putting the sentiment on the inside, which is stamped with the leafy spray in Brilliance Peacock, but DH wanted it on the outside
A2 black base.
Green Bazzill Bling, punched with southwest corner punch.
Image stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with H2Os. Sponged with Tumbled Glass and layered on black card. The bird was stamped on thinner watercolour paper, coloured with H2Os and cut out. I used touches of the iridescent H2Os on the wings, so when the light catches it they change colour. He's popped up with foam.
HA sentiment stamped on watercolour paper and cut into a strip, the ends rounded with a circle punch. Added two gems and popped up on foam.
I entered this into the Caardvarks July challenge to make a birthday card.

Lovely! What a great accompaniment to your DH's origami hummingbird gift. Thanks so much for sharing, Sabrina.
