Hmmm, Pounding flowers into cardstock??? That's a new one! I just so happened to have some roses that are starting to fade a bit. Now I do not own watercolor paper nor do I own a Cuttlebug or Bigshot. Instead my substitution is a pasta machine and some heavy chipboard along with some glossy photo paper. I decided I wanted some texture to this too so I used an embossing folder as well. I love how it turned out! I really wanted the background to stand out so I layered it on some black cardstock and made an easel card.

Now that's creative. . .a pasta machine and chipboard. Looks like it worked perfectly! And unlike the Big Shot or other machine, you can clean it up and make pasta! Great one!

What a pretty card - the pink and black make a pretty combo. I hear you on the pasta maker - I used to use my pasta maker for cardmaking more than pastamaking before I finally got a cuttlebug... Necessity IS the mother of invention, right! Fun background, nice blingy heart, great job on the ribbon folds...
