I made this card for a Taylored Expressions sketch challenge. I do not know if it is good enough to win with all of the lovely creations other people have posted, but I REALLY want Taylor's new pet set, so you gotta try right? ;)
I used her Boys Will Be Boys set - I figured it will make a good birthday card for a male friend who golfs. I stamped the golf & flag image and paper pieced the flag on and added a brad to the top of the pole, and stamped the 'green' on Glorious Green cardstock and then added green flocking to try to give it a realistic feel and texture. For the golf ball I punched a 1" circle and ran it through my CB with the Swiss Dots folder to make it look like a dimpled golf ball, then sponged some Basic grey around the edges. I stamped the sentiment on a white scrap of paper and cut out a cloud freehand, sponged some Bashful Blue around the edges and popped it up on pop dots.
I just realized I forgot to add a white brad or pom pom to my 'green' to serve as the golf ball!! DOH!! I will go back and add it.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card.

I love this card - you have used some really good ideas . I have been looking for ideas for a golf card just this week. I need to send a card to an ex colleague whose son has just won the US Open (Graeme McDowell). You have certainly helped to start the wheels turning for me!!

This is really fun! I LOVE your idea of adding a tiny pompom to the green as the golf ball. Super thinking! Your dimpled golf ball looks great. Fun masculine card, Meredith
