I am not sure who I would send this to, but after wasting one piece of watercolour paper (my yellow daisy-like flowers that I had mixed with a nasturtium went green and smelled rank) I wasn't going to waste a second piece. So the second time I just used nasturtiums and a couple of leaves. I liked the shape that came out, so I decided to just mirror it with some flowers.
Stamped flowers, leaves and bee on watercolour paper with Versafine Black, coloured with H2Os and cut out. Added a Woodware sentiment and a scrap of knotted ribbon on the stem. Distressed the edges, sponged with brown and layered on an A2 white base sponged with Crushed Olive.
Thanks for the challenge, Joan -this was one I hadn't tried before.

You made a very pretty bg, Sabrina. Even if you did have that rank odor.
Your cut-outs look very pretty, too.

What a great idea to add the flowers over the pounded flower background...this looks awesome!!! The colors look gorgeous and I love the added bee and the ribbon tied around the stem.
