I needed another sympathy card this morning. A wonderful lady who lost her son 6 months ago when a Marine helicopter went down outside of San Diego, has now unexpectedly lost her brother. I am thankful that they have a strong faith and they know that God has a plan for them and for their loved ones.
On a lighter note - I typically "double-challenge" myself. I know before I even look at the day's challenge what type of card I will be making. Amazingly, the two usually coincide. But today was a problem - with the colors I wanted to do a sweet and pretty card - not sympathy. But the "clean and simple" part of the challenge helped because I could just do small splashes of color.
