I used the Pounded Flowers Technique to create the background and the layered flowers. A Regal Rose watercolor wash was used on the background over the Pounded Flowers impressions to add a little more color. I made the flowers by cutting out the impressions on the watercolor paper and layering them with glue dots. The Candy Dots were added to the centers. The Nina Brackett Lovely Labels frame was sponged with Regal Rose, Bordering Blue, and Almost Amethyst. The image in the frame and the sentiment are from Gina K's Spring Florals set. A pearl flourish and ribbon are the finishing touches. You will find more details and a tutorial on the Pounded Flowers Technique on my blog, Stamping With a Passion.
