My DH is going to a class reunion today. I had a day filled with exciting plans—a day just for me—when BOOM! I awoke with a stuffy nose and sore throat. Couldn’t breathe, swallowing was agony, could barely talk—my day was ruined. You know the feeling. Destiny had me on the couch, groaning, and watching old movies. But then, I (painfully) swallowed some Tylenol, decongestant and two cups of coffee and, shortly thereafter, life was good once again.
On to the reason I am here . . .
Congratulations to Queen For The Day, zgirlsgranny. Loved exploring your lovely gallery. I found an absolutely adorable red and white card here: WT199 Valentine Hugs by zgirlsgranny at Splitcoaststampers. I picked this card from our QueenÂ’s gallery last night and then I browsed the IC237 challenge site, LoveArtWorks, and found this darling piece http://www.etsy.com/transaction/24731725. It was a match made in Heaven. So I combined the QFTD14 with the IC237 challenge to make this anniversary card.
Perhaps itÂ’s all the medicine, but I just love my card. I used three stamp sets to make this. I hardly ever have an opportunity to use those birds, but I think they are perfect for todayÂ’s challenge.
IÂ’ll stop rambling (I thinks itÂ’s the caffeine and Sudafed. Sorry.) and go pay some bills.
TFL.

No, no, it's not just the medicine (glad it worked! Nothing worse than feeling lousy just when you were looking forward to a fun day), this is a totally delightful and sweet card.

This is a perfect interpretation of the challenge, I love it!! I was so drawn to those cute little birds but don't have any of those kinds of stamps. Yet!
