Julia's WT challenge today was to use ribbon...hopefully in a new way.
Well, I did try, without any success, to fashion some roses from the hand-dyed crinkle ribbon I make. That was an UTTER failure.....even an abstract artist would not have recognized them as roses ...or any other flower. So I went conventional...I made a BIG ribbon bow, got out some old tiny satin, store-bought, ivory roses and tinted them with Glimmer Mists. Not very original or very creative, but there it is!

I think it's very pretty! We used the same ribbon today...love that big fat ribbon! I like your color combo...with just the perfect little touch of color. It makes such an elegant card. Love the scoring, too. I think you shouldn't be discouraged about your roses, what you did come up with is so very lovely!!!

Love the ribbon roses with the wider ribbon box and that scoring just adds yet another touch of elegance.
