I cannot believe it is noon already ...I started this card at around 9 ...
We were in the double decker when we saw a red woodpecker
He was flying right beside us and he turned and really eyed us
Then he shook his big tail feather And we couldnÂ’t guess whatever
Made him fly off with a snort ...
We continued our adventure and I near forgot to menture
That we rode along the Hudson it was full of gunk and mudsome
When we drove right past Times Square I got bird gunk in my hair
And I hopped off with a start ...
Saw the bare fannied Times Square jerk, saw Letterman go to work
Saw the sad twin towers hole but the people are made whole
Saw the royal lady Liberty in the harbor without quiverty
But now I wanted tea ...
Felt like I had walked to Brooklyn and my knees they started shooklyn
Pairs of birds in Central Park looked like they just came off the ark
I was really getting tired felt like I had just been fired
When I finally found the party ...
It was good to find the group, and I joined their teapot troupe
Found I was no longer weary, and New York was not so dreary
Even saw that darn wood pecker Even he was looking better
Teapot Tuesdays are a hoot.

Hey, you stinker! You weren't supposed to sight-see before tea! But no worries, we got all the bus drivers off the bus just in time for your much anticipated entrance! Giggle!
Girlfriend, kick your feet up on the back of that bus seat and relax...you look worn out! Somebody get Cat a cold one (no, not that kinda cold one, a Arnold Palmer!)
OMG! I love the bus made outa the ticket punch thingy, right? Its da bomb! And you sure made it around New York fast.....Love the story. You are right, Tuesdays are a hoot!

Your poem is swell, it strikes the right bell, your bus is real RED, that goes to my head. I'm ready to party, with all that are hardy, the group can have tea, but it's white wine for me! Love your bus..that punch was pure genius!! Fab bg!!!

Now I know who to put in charge of the sight-seeing itinerary. Yep, Lady Liberty might like a splash of tea. I love the way you've colored this! Awesome my dear. And that bus is pure genius! Your poem should be put to music. I think that we could all try to get on the Letterman set and sing it!
