This card I've called "A Touch of Copper". The stamp is by Christina Rea and has been watercoloured with small brown pearls in the centres. The edges have been torn and folded back, and fixed with copper heart shaped brads. Chalk shading has been added round the edges, and this has then been placed on EF Vellum that also has corners torn, then edged on brown CS. The side border is a negative strip from copper stick ons (you know how I like negatives) and the top border is a strip of DP with alternate positive and negative copper stickons applied. A torn shaded DP strip at the bottom with a small border of stick ons on top completes the look which is on olive DP and cream shaded CS. The copper embellishments catch the light which may not be seen on the photo. I liked the turned back corners, and although challenging, thought it gave the card a Vintage look.
Thank you for looking and your kind comments, and your challenges that help to keep my brain on the "go'

Lesley, this is a "copper" delight!! Oooh, I wish I could see this up close IRL!! I know I'm missing some of the extreme beauty that can't be captured by film. You did a very, very spectacular job on the challenge this week!! Thanks for playing the MMSC and I hope you can join us again next week.

Leslie-Wow this is sensational. It reminds me of the pretties I would see if I walked into this place that is about 30 miles from my home called "The Cottage Shop". It has that wonderful shabby chic look to it that I have come to love. The colors are phenomenal and compliment that gorgeous image. Your stylish touches of copper are just so impressive. Beautifully done. Great job with the sketch. Thanks for joining us at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week.
