For todayÂ’s TLC277, to make a one-layer card, I CASEÂ’d MNFroggieÂ’s at CAS71 Wedding Announcement with Wings by mnfroggie at Splitcoaststampers changing it up a little and making it a sympathy card. Yay, that was easy except that I still canÂ’t get my sponging to look good. It either has blobs like this or streaks. I think this is a technique that I need to watch someone do in person in order to learn it.
Many of the cards for this challenge have also qualified for CAS71 to make a card with things that fly, and since I got to use a bird stamp from my new Paper Studio clear stamp set, mine qualifies for that too.

What a great technique to sponge the inside of the Spellbinder. I would have never thought of that. I will have to try it.

Very nice card... love the sponging... (nothing has to be perfect... then it would look machine made... LOL ) and the bird is so perfect for this type of card... very nicely done and elegant also.. love it.
