The 3rd time is the charm. My first 2 tries for http://simplicitybylateblossom.blogspot.com/2010/06/one-layer-wednesday-8-masking.html> Susan's < /a> challenge were BAD. I wanted to do a monogram because seeing some monograms using DP is what helped me regain my interest in stamping after having my supplies put away for many years. The challenge was to mask a background~I hope this qualifies~ I stamped the R, masked with a 3/4" punched circle, stamped the dot spot, put another tiny corner mask on, and stamped the flourish. The flourish had flowers that I cut off the clear acyrlic stamp, but one I left on (I may want it in the future) so I just masked it out.
I used a Dauber Duo from Tsukneko in Canary and Marigold on the Dot Spot. The Flourish is unnamed from HL. "R" from PTI Trajan.
I am pleased with the outcome. I can see myself making more of these for notecards, probably varying the position and colors.
