When I saw the sketch this morning I was thinking of a photo of wisteria and a sort of gazebo / pergola effect.
BUT...I had a few other cards to make, and when I came back after lunch, the BG Euphoria was on my desk, as was a spoiled card base where I'd smudged a sentiment stamped directly onto it. So I went looking and found this Sideshow Stamps Owl, and took her out for an airing.
A2 Bazzill card base. All papers BG Euphoria. I cut the scalloped layer from my last card-blank in this colour, remembering to cut it so that the rest of the card has a nicely centred aperture and won't go to waste. All edges sponged with ColorBox Pigment Magenta. The two top panels were punched with a Marvy corner punch. Owl was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os to match the DP. I used some of the green watercolour and a clear stamp to add extra leaves around the base of the oval. Tiny bling added to the centres of her flowers and the punched corners. I put a bit of feather underneath and popped her up on foam. Layered flowers with more bling...
Let me know what you think about the feather - I am not good at using them, but I think I like the softness it adds.
