Our lovely daughter graduated from High School over the weekend and this is the card I made for her. Her dress was the raspberry of the ribbon, with just a little sparkle. The invitations we made were black and white so I wanted to tied it all together. She is a natural girl, not prone tolots of makeup or fancy things. Her classic simplicity I thought was captured with this card.
There are embossed flourishes on the black card base that are hard to see, but very pretty IRL. She traced out and embossed the hat for her invitations and I used the last one for her card.
This is the one SU Grad stamp that I love; it is elegant and classy. Thanks for looking.

I love the straight forwardness of this card. Very clean and simple. The flourish in the bg is beautiful and I bet this is just stunning in real life. You did a very nice job on this card for your daughter. I'm sure she will or did appreciate this beautiful, thoughtful, hug with a fold down the middle. Very nice. I'm going to add this bg embossing idea to a few of my cards. I absolutely adore this.

Hey there... Somehow I missed a whole row of cards in your gallery! I should be working on a video slide show I'm doing for the church for Sunday but my inspiration is elsewhere at the moment so I'm browsing SCS galleries to see what creations I may have missed in my crazy month of June ~ and apparently this was one! Love the black on black background and the scrumptious raspberry ribbon. Nice crisp and clean card for your special girl. And she's all through high school now! Wow ~ congrats to her!
