 | | Well, today is a day mixed with all kinds of emotions. People are leaving us Alice Irene (Pat's grams), Bernice (Deena's mother-in-law and good friend). Makes you stop and think about life in general. Over the week-end, I had alot of time to make cards, seems everybody was busy here. Pierre working, David going out with the boys, Corryn finally did not want to come, she had another activity, and though this time, I had to swallow some tears, I let her do what she needed too...live her life. With all that I keep busy with around the house, making cards is a big part of my daily routine, and I just love it. I was so happy to make cards for Connie, another reason why I love this place. Oh and did you hear...Peggy-Sue is back after a too long absence, so glad to see her.
In a nutshell (what a choice word coming from me huh) I just want to say that I am growing here with you all, I can't name you all, you are too many, but I know you know who you are!
So for the CAS today, I just wrote down a sentiment that will touch Pat's heart. It did mine, when she wrote it in her tribute to her grams, here is the link to her card:

Yes, we can even rejoice for Alice Irene, for she is walking with Jesus now. I had to write it, no stamp with that on, no printer, I suspect fowl play with it and Pat loves it when I write on my cards, the button as a special meaning, for that is how Pat and I met here, because she had made a beautiful frame for her mom and as mine she loved buttons!
This is also a case from Nikki's gallery, look at this gem of a card, what inspiration:

Another reason why I love SCS, you can discover beautiful everyday!
EDIT: Noticed when commenting on other CAS cards that I didn't have my focal point sentiment, sorry...will make another one! |
