The background was a scrap bit of paper that I was trying out paints on for the Autumn Scene card (see earlier in my gallery). Then I wanted to see how well the tree stamp would go on watercolour paper before trying it on the 'proper' background. It stamped well enough to make this card!

This is stunning. I love the fact that it was 'scrap' paper to start with. I'd been struggling with brayering, but I made a few nice cards out of paper that I had rolled my brayer off onto. The brayered sheets didn't do it tho', lol.
