Here is the card I did for this weekend's VSN Challenge, Dreaming of May. We were to somehow represent the change from winter to spring, either by a change in colors across the card, a change in images, or a change in texture. We were also to include a sentiment, an embellishment, and patterned paper.
My sky and grass are both on the back side of some patterned paper, and they both have some mottled coloring that I thought would work well. My "embellishment" is the flower soft I used for the snow, flowers, and autumn leaves, and there are also two small brads at the center of the bicycle wheels. The bicycle was actually my husband's idea! ;) The bicycle is from Unity, and the trees are from Flourishes. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, and I used a white paint pen for the bicycle seats and the handlebars, just for that little extra something!
Thanks for looking!
