Here is my 28 min.version of the Stamp-a-holic's 10 min. card challenge. Yes, I did go a big over. haha. I started by sponging a light pink flower on the background of the glossy white paper. First I created a template from the Blossom Party Sizzlet die. The I used Melon Mambo, black, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, and Summer Sun papers. Inks included Melon Mambo, Summer Sun and black. Sentiment came from Inspired by Nature. I used a lot of the flowers from the Sizzix die, Blossom Party. Also used Embosslit Beatiful Wings and stamped them with Vintage Vogue. The scalloped circle punch and clear brads finished the card. This card was fun to make as I love the bright colors. They go with the word "passion" and exude happiness. You'll notice a variance in color in the Summer Sun flowers. Two flower rings are made with white paper stamped with Summer Sun ink. When you stamp on white, it creates a little bit different color: a lighter one that goes so well with its paper. Now stop on over to Carole'Anne's blog to join in our challenge. http://mirrorimage.typepad.com/carol...challenge

Oh, this card is so pretty, I love everything about it, bright happy colors, lots to look at, you really rocked this sketch challenge my friend. The sponging really does make it pop doesn't it, worth the extra few minutes, I think Mr. Nasty wants to come and live with you, he would be hooting and hollering at 29 minutes, LOL..
Happy weekend my friend.
