I'm short of time because I'm only home for a couple of hours, so I'm combining yesterdays' WT of using paint and today's F4A to be inspired by something you collect. I have several sub-collections in my books - Dick Francis, Terry Pratchett, D.L.Sayers, Michael Innes - and the ongoing Complete Peanuts, two books a year for twelve years.
I used pearlescent red paint and the Spots and Dots ef to make my distress acrylic base. Snoopy is coloured with H2Os, one of my two main colouring mediums. The brown card is from a DCWV Rickrack cardstock pack someone gave me. I feel so bad that every other time I've used it I've cut the fancy border off, but I thought it would work ok on this sort of distressed masculine card, along with the fact that the image is trimmed close to two edges. I pierced each point and sponged the edges a bit with Antique Photo. HA sentiment was cut with Spellbinders Tags, sponged and attached with a pewter brad after tying silver cord around. Green base paper is Sizzix Little Sizzles. I was wishing I had a little spanner or something like that, but couldn't find anything suitable in my limited supply of metal embellishments. I did enjoy making the background and will definitely try this again when I need a distressed feel.

What a fun card, Sabrina! Love the work you did on your bg panel...gorgeous! And Snoopy...can he ever be not cute??? NO Books are truly a wonderful thing to collect. I would hate to imagine a house without them!
