Dawn gave us the challenge...and it was a challenge...to depict on a card something that we collect other than our stamping supplies.
This was a stumper for me. I collect crystal paperweights......didn't have any appropriate stamps, punches, etc. for this. Then I decided to depict my collection of hand-screened, French silk scarves. I've collected them for about 30 years. To me they are "art". My collection has "closed"...with the poor value of the US dollar vs. the euro. I have a few duplicates of the little booklets that would come out every season to show their newly released or rereleased designs. So I cut a few pages out of them to show the scarves. That is what you see in the photographs. Since the flagship store is in Paris, I added the Eiffel Tower.

Wow, you've created such a great art deco feel to this with those black borders and openwork fan punches. Perfect for your theme. But alas, I am currently feeling the pain of the euro falling against the dollar. Are they Hermes scarves or just a similar style?

Very clever way to display your collection for us to see. You've also given me an idea!! But I have a day of baby sitting, so it will be much later today b/f I can play. I love the beautiful scarves you choset to cut out of the catty and how you displayed them here. The Tower adds the perfect touch.
