The challenge here was pretty much a free for all - with the exception - Had to be for a Woman's Birthday.
This digital image was first colored with Copics.
Originally, it was going to be okay to use the Stickles, but after mine dried on the petals, first thing I did was rub them, and some of the glitter in the glue rubbed off, so I sealed it in with some Glossy Accents. I don't want one of our troops getting caught with his 'glitter on', ya know? The glossy accents created the perfect seal, and gave each petal a bit of dimension, so a happy accident, right?
I used the ticket corner punch on image and mat before popping them up on dimensionals. Flipped some mustard DP til I liked the combination and over the joint added some white scalloped trim that I sponged with caramel before adding the nail heads.
Remember - Use any item you've received via the Wish RAK system - it can be anything from images, papers, embellishments, ribbon - whatever you've been 'gifted' with.
Don't forget - this time all challenges will be posted on Friday evening and you'll have a week to post them in the gallery. Cards must be mailed by the 3rd week in June!
Have a blast - and remember, these are for a wonderful cause - Supplying our deployed troops with a supply of cards they can send home to their family and friends!
Thanks for looking!
