Congrats to Nikki! What a wonderful gallery! I chose her Make a Wish to case. I used similar colors, layout and birthday theme, but I changed the images, changed the rectangle image to an oval and restricted my layers to bands at the bottom.
I really love the DRS new birthday arc greeting. It makes it easy to add the greeting almost anywhere. Here I stamped it above my oval layers, directly on the card front.
Isn't the spiro oval image terrific? I'm pretty sure I still have an old spirograph around here. The spiro oval was stamped, colored with markers and cut out. It's attached to a larger white oval I cut using an oval Nestie. The polka dot flower was done the same way and attached in the center. I made a Faux Brad and put it in the center of the flower.
I used a border punch and a line of dots embossing border folder on the the dark and light blue borders. The dk blue border has an additional punched green border underneath it and the lt blue has a white one. I also used the embossing border folder on the bottom and top of the white 5.5 x 4.25 card.
Thanks so much for looking! Now all I need is a slinky to go with my spirograph, lol. My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

I love everything about this card. The colors, the layout and especially the geometric image. It's definately going into my favs.
