Oh, how I tried to work in a button or two so I could submit this for today's Free For All challenge (use Buttons and/or Bows), but it just wouldn't fit or look right!
This card took a while for me to execute. I had the idea of it in my head for some time now, but needed to think on how I might assemble it. I used my Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities. First I taped down my metal die on white cardstock, then began creating the scene. With the metal die in place, and even before cutting, I sponged Soft Sky all around. Then I added my sponged hills (skinny pieces of card stock I got in one of my fave $1 Scrap Bags). I stamped all house parts, clouds and tree on a separate piece of white CS, then cut out. The sponged Little Leaves Sizzlits were glued in place, and then I finally ran the die-cutting sandwich thru my Big Shot FOUR times. I wanted to make sure that baby was cut all the way through! I checked after each pass, and that's how many times it really took to cut thru all layers.
Thanks for looking!

Wowza, Colleen!! This is one amazingly constructed scene. It is one of the coolest I've seen in a long time!! I love how you worked in the leaves and hills. And what great DP you used in your background! Really pretty colors. Awesome work on this stunning creation, my friend!!!
