I tried using patterned paper for the large panel, but I much prefer all of those in this sketch challenge gallery that used the large panel as an image. I think my expanse of patterned paper looks a little dull. (Of course, it is for my husband and he regularly wanders by my craft table and tells me that I am adding too many frills - so a "dull" expanse of paper will work for him.) And..it did get me another set for my 2010 goal!

Wow, so totally masculine and a totally different take on the sketch from the rest of us. I like the plaid panel for a guy as they do like it very sparse compared to the ladies. I think you nailed for a masculine look.
