I am cheap when it comes to crafting. I figure I need to use what I have and not buy every trendy item that comes along...so I made my own *felt* flowers with the faux suede technique. I only made 2 and needed another little flower, so I made the rose bud. I started with a 1/2" strip of dusty durango, punched it with the scallop edge punch and then rolled it and bent down some of the outer petals. I adhered the last petal with 2way glue and the flower is on a glue dot to adhere it to the card. Hope you like it. I think I will experiement with other sizes to see what else I can do. I also think if I had crumpled it first, the flower would have rolled more easily. Craft and learn!
