I decided to combine the clean and simple challenge of shabby chic with the TLC challenge of framing it. I bought a stamp set recently off of e-bay and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is Victorian Frame by SU.
I stamped my frame on vellum and embossed it. I then tore the edges of my white c/s and distressed it with Tim Holtz Old Paper distress ink. I then stamped the flower image with Color Box Old Rose, then cut out the circle with my nestabilities. I layered my DSP on my chocolate chip, then my vellum, added my ribbon and pearls and you have "shabby chic".
I haven't decided to use this as a birthday card or maybe an anniversry card.
Hope you like it.
