or daffodils for bats?? When I read the TPT challenge yesterday morning, this was the stamp I decided to use. But then I had a rather flustered morning and by the time I got home I'd forgotten all about it, and made a cage instead of a cave. I knew I wanted to just change one letter . So here's a cat, instead of a bat, which still lets me in the front door.
I just love the smells of daffodils and narcissi on a sunny day. Last year they had a bed of them in front of the logistics building in work, and on sunny days you could smell them from half way down the loading yard.
5 3/4" base, covered with green Bazzill and then some yellow Clairefontaine paper. The Penny Black image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. The brown frame was cut and embossed with square Nestabilities for the aperture, but even the biggest square wasn't big enough for the outer edge. Yellow corners punched and Dew Drops added. The sentiment from Riveting was cut and embossed with Blossoms 1, with punched flowers in the centre. I reckoned any of the green star that showed through would just look like a calyx. Liquid Pearls in the centre, and the whole thing popped up on foam with some punched leaves underneath.
I put lots of Pheasant's Eye narcissi into the bunch of flowers, I love the scent of them.
