This was an idea that I got from a local store that is having a class on how to make these. I am signing up for the class, but couldn't wait to figure out how it was done. I was totally experimenting, so with whatever paper you use, the possibilities are enless!

Awww, you guys are too sweet! This is what I did:
I took a small styrofoam cone, and wrapped a piece of green CS around it. Then I just took CS and tore it to give me the shape I was after. Then I used garmet pins with the little heads on them, to pin each one in place. Towards the top though, I used a glue gun so the pin heads wouldn't show. I started at the bottom and worked my way to the top of the cone. Then, I sprayed it with spray adhesive and sprinkled glitter all over it. (What a mess, do this outside, oh, and you might not want the ceiling fan on if ya do it inside ;)) I tried to make a bow, but that's not my game, my mom can do them though. That was about it. It took about 45 min to do. If someone comes up with a better way, let me know.

Cute! I saw this at Recollections too. The class was full so I asked her how she did it. She said she used the styrofoam cone and tore the CS just like you did. She said she then lightly wet the paper and then rolled the triangles up then added a little bit of dimensional snow on some of the edges. then hot glued the paper to the cone and added the spray adhesive and glitter. I think you did a great job figuring it out TFS!
