It is graduation time! I love Dreams du Jour for graduation cards and/or gift tags. I used this weeks SC279 layout for my card, which worked perfectly. Thanks so much Roxie for the idea.
My card is for my friend Nancy Morgan's DD Megan, who is graduating from college and will be starting a 2 year teaching adventure in Texas with the Fabulous "Teach for America Corp" program for underserved children. Meg is full of enthusiasm, sparkle and creative ideas and......loves to stamp. Besides her sparkly card I am giving her a gift bag using the Cottage Wall DP with a stamp set and a Fancy Favor bag filled with ribbons and a stardust pen. Nancy is hosting a Graduation Bunco party soon so we can all celebrate Megan's accomplishments.
All my stamping is heat EB, cut out and popped up. I added more glitter with my clear stardust pen on all the swiss dots and purple Stickles in the center of the flowers. I used a rhinestone brad for the center of the largest flower. What a fun project for a great gal. Congratulations again Meg!

Beautiful card, Nancy! I really love the colors of the cottage wall DP and the pieces you chose for the different layers are wonderful! The pearls add just the right touch of elegance!

Nancy, this is really stunning. I love that layout and your image is perfect. She is going to love this card and that gift! How exciting to be so young and so full of excitement - that program is awesome too (I am proud of her and I don't even know her). TFS!
