Ahhhhhh, the opportunity to paper-piece ... one of my all-time fav techniques! This one was inspired by Eliotstamps (Michelle), this weeks' featured stamper, FS169. Here's her card that spurred me on toward my creation. I've changed the colors, added pearls and paper-piercing plus airbrushing for that vintage appeal. I also had to enlarge her layout to a square in order to accommodate my image. The basic pearls have been colored to coordinate.
Thanks to everyone who has looked "past" the Red X's in the gallery, to actually "see" the current gallery uploads! For those of you who like more details, this one is directly linked right here at Savor the Journey! Sweet week to each of you!

This is so pretty! I love that dress - which I had one just like it (and had that waist of course too - I don't think she has even looked at a piece of cake). You paper-pieced to perfection on this one! WOW!

Oh yes, those dreded red X's, but thank goodness if one clicks on the gray bar the thumbnail will open! I love this card. It's gorgeous. Great colors. This reminds me of the old McCall's and Simplicity patterns. Oh, showing my age???? Well, I do have grandchildren who know nothing of patterns!!!!

OMG-Bev, this is just simply stunning! Oh the time it took you to make this beauty! So worth it though! Wish I had this for a Mother's Day card for my MIL, she used to sew all the time and tried to teach me...once...she, like my home ec teacher, after 3 years, gave up, LOL!
