This card was made for CCC10 April, Challenge. I also used Sketch Challenge 251.
Supplies:
Cricut and Fabulous Finds Cartridge
Faith Paper Pack from The Paper Studio
Light Yellow Cardstock
Beigh Cardstock
Spellbinder Scalloped Circle
Glossy Cardstock
Brushes Corduroy Distressed Embossing Powder / Embossing Ink Pad
Tsunikeo Spray Walnut Ink
Rubbing Alcohol and cosmetic wedge
Chipboard letters
Yellow paint
JustRite stamps
I used my cricut and fabulous finds cart to cut out all the papers. I raised each layer with pop dots for dimension. After placing those layers I took my Spellbinder scalloped circle die cuts and cut it out of the Glossy cardstock, the same argyle paper as the background and beigh cardstock. I then worked on the glossy cardstock. I took my JustRite stamps and stamped it using an embossing ink pad. I then took Brushed Corduroy distressed embossing powder and covered the glossy crdstk. Then I heated it up. It does take a while and you won't notice a change in the embossed area. It won't get shinny so you just have to test it by rubbing a small area and see if the powder stays or comes off. Then I took out my cosmetic wedge and spritzed rubbing alcohol on it. I used a mini mister. Next, I sprayed my Tsunikeo walnut ink on the wedge and blotted the glossy cardstock. Adding layers will make it darker. I just did 1 layer to keep it lighter.
Next, I made the Dec25th which is chipboard. I painted it yellow with acrylic paint. Then to darken it I took the same cosmetic wedge and covered the letters. I added the layers of scalloped circles with pop dots.
