This is my very first attempt at the highly popular "easel" style cards.
I recently purchased this supercute stamp (one of Penny Black's newest 2010 collection) for a bargain price during my bi-annual craft show day out.
My little boy has severe learning difficulties as well as being autistic and he is lucky enough to attend an amazing special school where all the members of staff are undoubtedly angels in disguise. At the moment his class has a teacher trainee who last week had all of the children printing with real apples to create fantastic artwork. She will be leaving shortly so I made this card to Thank her for the time she has spent with my Son - I thought the apple theme was sooooo appropriate!
This photo shows the card when standing and if you would like to see what it looks like open or closed, check out the next 2 photo's in my gallery.
I get a huge amount of pleasure making cards but even more so when it is for a specific occasion such as this. I know that I am way behind creatively to so many fantastic crafters here on SCS but I do hope that the amount of love that I put into making each one makes up for lack of talent!
Thanks so much for popping by and Have a Hedgy day! x
