Last Halloween I was still making my cards and treat bags at 7.30am on the day they were due to given out by my little boy at his school and his bus was due at 8.30!
I was in a real sweat and have vowed that this year I WILL be more organised! LOL!
Is it just me who always leaves things the last minute?
Anyway, here is the 3rd of my Halloween cards for 2010. I have recently taken delivery of a couple of new Martha Stewart punches so could'nt wait to try them out! (again, is it just me who is addicted to these fantastic tools?!!)
To make this card I used the following MS punches - Spiders web corner punch, Graveyard edger, and last but not least, the skull punch.
The trick or treat sentiment is stamped with staz on on to acetate then raised as in a picture frame on 3d sticky pads. The frame was made using an outlines halloween stamp.
The squares that the skulls are sitting on were made from scratch by using 4 of the web corner punchouts to create a square frame and the bottom of the card was made in the same way by lining up the web punch-outs then cutting away the bottom of the card to get the fancy edge.
I could'nt resist sticking a couple of spiders on to the card for added spookiness! I was lucky enough to buy a huge bag of plastic creepy crawlies in the sale after Halloween last year (at 10pence I could'nt resist a bargain! I just thought they would come in handy for SOMETHING! LOL!)
I really enjoyed making this and hope that you enjoy taking a peek at it too! Thanks so much x
