This card evolved as I tried to decide which challenge I was going to attempt. Took me three days to finally find time to take a photo of it!!
Friday's Free for All challenge was to take a virtual vacation. I have always loved our trips to the Maritimes and especially Prince Edward Island. Love the lighthouses there...and the pace of life... Ahhh... Gonna have to talk to my trip planner...
Cathleen (ctorina - aka Clazi) is our current QFTD (which usually means Queen for the WEEK in my world). She has a fantastic gallery!!! I love the look of this card. Used a different punch for my border, changed the bottom edge to a wavy border (my virtual vacation is on a beach, gotta have waves). Watercoloured the image with my Aquapainter. Tried to find something to put where Cathleen has her holly leaves. Nothing worked so left it CAS...
StampinB's challenge this week was to use yellow, white, soft blue or mint on a card. The photo has faded the watercolouring slightly, but those colours are all there! Trust me...
Whewwww! 3 challenges! Not often I can pull that off!
Thanks for stopping by.
Punchkateerz tally: 3 different punches punched a total of 11 times (plus 3 on the inside...)

Look what I found in the StampinB gallery. Just got up because I couldn't sleep. What a beautiful lighthouse image. I'm sure Cathleen will love it, too.
You really hit the challenges with this beautiful card. Thumbs up on the punches.

OMG - this is exceptional. I love the blue and black, your wave border and the punched frame that reminds me of waves crashing on the shore. The watercolored lighthouse is beautiful. Love it, and it's headed right into my faves.

Woo Hoo again Da Dizzy!! This is outstanding and such a great tribute to our fellow Punchkateer Clazi as QFTD!!! I, too, had that card in mind to case. I especially wanted to have it remain a Christmas card to drive Anne Ryan CRAZY, but I chose a different one instead. But, there's always tomorrow!! You did an INCREDIBLE job here. I LOVE that color combo and your image is just so peaceful! Great use of zee punchez my friend!! I see your talliez are rating pretty high az of late!!!
