This is a card that started out as an inspiration from a fellow stamper who happened to have made several comments on my cards. I went to her Gallery, and got some wonderful ideas of my own! Thank you to parkes for my super late night inspiration!
First, I used the Cropadile to punch holes at even spots around the card base. I threaded the silver cord through the holes to create the frame. I used brads to cover the holes, seal the cord in a bit nicer.
Marbled Background made using the Baby wipe technique, baby wipe with a few dots of reinker, dabbed over and over to the desired effect.
Butterflies were pieces cut for something else (n red, actually), so I used a temporary adhesive to position the butterflies onto a bitter scrap, then coated them with versamark, and heat embossing. The Butterflies pull away easily, and I didn't ahve to try and hold them still when using the gun.
I am quite pleased at this late hour, now it's bedtime! Thanks for looking, and thanks again, Parkes, for inspiring me!

Oh my goodness - I am so thrilled I was the inspiration of this card! I was going through your gallery just now, and had to see this card close up. It is stunning. I love the marbled background, and the silver cord adds a real elegant touch. The silver butterflies lets the background tell the story. Wow!
