This is for the Inspiration Challenge and the Dirty Dozen Challenge for vintage thoughts. I can't say that my card is especially vintage, although the background stamp certainly stirs thoughts of vintage to me.
The new manager at my local Paper Zone did me a total solid yesterday and I wanted to make him a thank you card. I had asked his favorite colors which I learned are green and brown. So I added in some gold on this super simple card. This is not dissimilar to a card I did for a shoebox swap a year or so ago. I added the very shimmery and elegant Gmund Treasury Beauty to the mix of olive and chocolate stock. The bg stamp is embossed in gold, the twine dyed with Chocolate Chip reinker, the sentiment edged in Choc Chip and Galaxy Gold ink.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking!
