I try to visit Michelle Zindorf's blog everyday. Her latest tutorial, Twilight Thanks can be seen here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I felt it served better for me as a sympathy card.
My cousin unexpectedly lost her husband to a massive brain hemorrhage. I did not brayer b/c I cannot overcome the lines. Mine is all sponging. Other than the sponging and the sentiment I followed her tutorial. I also left off the wall & the white gel pen highlights. I also did my ribbon differently. DH said this looked like a lot of work! It was, but I think well worth it. This is 5" square finished.
Thanks for stopping by to look.

Gorgeous isnt exactly the word I would want to use here, but this card is beyond gorgeous. Look at you go with all brayering. I'm really glad you've tried and new technique and have truly exelled at it. I'm impressed. This card is just tops, girl.

Karen, your beautiful and touching card will bring healing to your cousin. You have put so much heart into this, and I know she will feel that. What a beautiful scene- so rich and detailed! Bless your heart and thanks for sharing so much in this place!

Hi Karen~
What an uplifting sympathy card. Instead of it being all shades of black...your's is of hope, maybe as rebirth. I think it is a wonderful
card for any reason. You are so talented. Your first real time using a
brayer...and look at the wonderful card you created.
This card has my two wedding colors...a majestic purple, and a vibrant yellow.
I am sure that this will bring comfort for those that may feel lost at this
time. I am so sorry for their loss, and yours.
