this is a new to me butterfly image that i watercoloured with distress inks, watercolour paints and markers. i added stickles to all the wings. since i'm fairly new to the Sketch Challenges, i interpret them literally. this is also the first time i get to participate in the FBW challenge. thanks for looking.

This card is just gorgeous - the butterflies have such delicate shading. I like the textured paper, enough for interest but not so much as to detract from the butterflies. Well done!

These butterflies *are* free to fly . . . fly away!!! Linda, you've made these flutterers so gorgeous!! Pretty pastel colors, wonderfully glittery. Your mulberry paper looks super on this card. I've got a nice collection of it, but always forget about it. Thanks for the great reminder!! You know, I *always* take sketches so literally, too!! So, take comfort in the fact that it's not just you. Some day I'll be able to break out of the box, but that's not happening any time soon. In the meantime, we should both just roll with it!!! Oh, and I'm so glad you did the FBW challenge!! This is a perfect entry for it. I'll bet your card gets snagged as a featured card in no time at all. Way to go on both challenges
