We have a security breach!
Memo dated April 2, 2010
Date: 5:21 AM
To: Agent Bertoadie & Assistant Investigator Hilbertie
who are currently traveling. Private road trip, destination not revealed at this time.
From: Agent Mothermark
Subject: Breach of Security
Top Secret!
The purpose of this memo is to inform you of a security breach to the Mothermark Files. Evidence received by mail on April 1, 2010. Such evidence was in the form of a minature X-file which had been severely compromised. At this time, the resulting ramifications are not fully known.
Clues were found within the file. It seems the perpetrator may be in the form of a critter as prints were left on the backside of the file. Prints very closely resembling those of a racoon. Additional clues point in the direction of a toad who consistantly has two thumbs up.
You are hereby notified of further assignments to commence the minute you are back at headquarters. These assignments will include tasks relating to further investigations into the mysterious shushing lady, butterfly and beagle contained within the file! The butterfly and shushing lady were accomplices in the theft of a Mothermark File Label which was removed by mouth of a unsuspecting beagle. The Mothermak Oval File Label was replaced by black and white Rectangle Stickers in an effort to disquise the theft. You will have full access to additional X-files as well as the assistance of a pair of small but very capable birdies flying consistently around trees in the vicinity of the racoon suspect. Said birdies have received their full orders and security clearance to work as under-cover spys and will be available to meet upon your arrival. Additional evidence found in the form of ornately embossed copper panels in two different shapes.
What was for our eyes only has now been severely compromised! No one can be trusted, the file should remain secure and the quiet must continue.

Hey, how wonderful to see you at the teaparty this week, Special Agent Bertoadie. And with your wonderful card and story too. It's given me a real smile this morning, when I am having such trouble waking up. Love the way you used Season of Friendship and I ADORE that raccoon. We don't have them here, I always want to see one IRL. And the whole file idea, such fun.
As you always say, TWO THUMBS UP for this one.
Oh yes, I love the glossy leaves, and the couple of blue ones in among the green.

Hilarious! Love your narrative/memo and this fun, fun card. The raccoon image is a great one - it really captures the nature of that beast. They've been know to breach the security of my birdfeeders and trash cans, but I had no idea my secret files were in danger! Thanks for the grin!!!
