I was finishing up some cards the other day when a friend stopped by and commented on what I was doing. I never really thought to share with anyone because it's something that I've always done to conserve paper & make it stretch (nobody see's what's inside the card anyway & there is no way to tell by looking at the finished product that I punched shapes out of my mat's.) even if you won't need any pieces on the current project, you can still cut out shapes with your punch for future projects or this is a good way of planning ahead for your next project/s. Anyway, hope you find this an economical way of stretching your supplies so they last longer!
all supplies are from stampin up!
