I made this card for my sister's 25th wedding anniversary. She and her husband grow cymbidiums so I thought that would be a good image. I didn't want the card to be too 'girly' (after all it was for her husband as well!) so I decided on purple and green as a colour scheme and used a sponge to cover card stock with purple and green metallic acrylic paint. I printed the numbers and traced them onto card, cut them out and used various layers of silver ep, clear UTEE, a silver leafing pen, and finally silver glitter to get the required dimension and requisite degree of sparkle.

Wow, Stephanie, this is major beauty! I love the beautiful colors and the embossed images. What fascinates me is how you achieved varying depths with the silver embossing on the flowers. Beautiful!
