It's Tuesday, and time for another wild and crazy day. This week our mission is to send Speedy the cat on a vacation trip. Speedy's Mom, Faith is being honored for being the post-ess with the most-est, and while the cat's away, the teapotters will play! You can read all about it here.
My cat George decided he wanted to go to Florida and visit his cousin Peeps. My little seester (Peep's mom) is having a birthday tomorrow, and we're Florida bound to surprise her with a visit. George thought Speedy could use a little pickup, so we swung by Speedy's house and gave him a lift to Kitty's watercoloring class. Hopefully, Kitty will still be giving lessons when we head home.
The little red pickup was clear EP'd, cut out and popped up. Because George chose to ride in the back, he needed a bandana to prevent sunburn... then he too was popped up on dimensionals. I drew the palm tree, clear EP'd it, then sponged the ocean, sand and clouds.
My friend Mitch just gave me Loads of Love yesterday - perfect timing! Thanks Mitch... you saved the day!

George and his bandana are just too cute. Hope they don't turn that truck over. LOL Some great sponging going on here and super job on the tree. Adorable card! Hope you have fun celebrating your seester's birthday.

Cool bandana, I like how it matches the background. Hope it's tied on well, don't want it blowing off as you speed along in your pick-up!! Great palm tree, too.
You should see the ones here - because normally our winters are mild, Cordyline palms survive pretty well. But this year we had snow for so long that for a long time you could see their crowns had been damaged by the snow sitting on them. And just recently they started falling apart, so there are all these bare palm-trees with no leaves left at all. No danger of that with yours, it looks so warm and enticing.

Love that shiny red truck and that great palm tree. That's one BIG cat! Great card!

George certainly looks like he is enjoying the ride especially being his head is covered. Like how you used this stamp set with the beach scene. Impressive tree drawing.
