Jen gave us Mackinac Island as a CAS challenge today. She had a site of great postcards.
Since I was there just last August, I drew inspiration from my memories. One mental image was the profusion of flowers everywhere! It was glorious in late August!! We had taken a carriage tour of the island, and besides the quaintness of the Island , the flowers left a permanent impression. A truly beautiful place in Michigan.

Sallie, I just love your wonderful wildflower scene!! This looks just like what you'd see on Mackinac. You used such pretty colors to create your flowers. I especially love the foxglove-like purple cluster flowers. So unique!! Terrific work on this CAS inspiration challenge

Gorgeous! How lucky you have visited this beautiful state! Your flowers are lovely and seem so tranquil as I imagine the scenery to be. Great job as always!! TFS
