I like the process of making accordion cards, but don't often the concept of a theme to fill one. I made one for my brother's 40th, and he said it was the best thing he got for his birthday, but at least for that I had photos through the years and a theme.
Anyhow, for today's challenge I decided to use some of my bird photos. I made the covers from chipboard covered with My Mind's Eye Bloom and Grow. I added a scalloped and plain oval cut from the same papers, and added Liquid Pearls in each indent. I added a bird with the Two-Step Bird punch - the branches are the same paper as my inner pages, and the bird is Core'dintations WhiteWash range, embossed with Textiles and sanded. I used the same for the corners. I embossed a chipboard letter with white EP and wrote Birds on it with a Sakura Glaze pen. Before gluing the pages into the covers I stuck green organza ribbon down. Printed and cut eight photos, and to keep it simple, all I added on the pages was some flourishes with Versamark.
I don't know what on earth I'll do with this, but it certainly was fun to make. Thanks, Dawn .

If you go to church, perhaps you could pass it to a little kid who is sqirrely and needs a little something to look at! Or in line at the grocery store...

Sabrina, those bird photos are awesome! If you don't know what to do with this, I'll send you my addie! This would make a great gift. I plan to make one of these for my sister-in-law for her birthday in 8 days.

Sabrina this is lovely. It must have been hard to pick only 8 photos! I know you have some very beautiful ones. I love the cover too and how you put all those elements together. It's so nice to see that you print out your pictures and use them. I have to remind myself to do that too!

Gorgeous, Sabrina. You just gave me some inspiration on what to do with an accordian book - add pictures of my favourite subjects.
1. My great nephew is about to turn 1 this month. Once they have photos of him celebrating his first, I'm going to print some off and add them. Then I'll pass it around at the office, etc.
2. Some trips I've taken - I'll do the same thing.
I'm also a birder, albeit a novice one. I've been to Europe and the British Isles, but most of these trips were before I took up birding. I'd love to return with a good set of binoculars and bird book and join a birding expedition.

I love that you used your awesome photography for your project, Sabrina! Your bird photos are beautiful, and this would make a lovely gift for someone to display on their desk or a shelf. Beautiful!
