Today for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday, we are watching Chris Cross at the National Crossword Championship! He is stuck on his final word and he and his wife Crisanne NEED the prize money to buy a new home. For some reason I just know Chris will come through, and I have found the perfect house for the happy couple! A little saltbox nestled in a field of Crossword Sunflowers...a very rare seed hybrid developed by none other than Meriam Webster himself! Just don't tell Meriam that some real sunflower seeds got thrown into the mix (See those last 2 on the right? Some how they are un-checkerboarded but I was too tired to fix them when I realized my mistake, grrrr)
PS...FINALLY got me an SU Top Note Die whoopeeeee! Thanks Krischir!

Yay, Kelly! You got to use it! I LOOOVE how you stamped your flowers with the checkerboard background. I like how your top note is the same color as the base color, and the subtle ink on the edges is perfect. Sooooooo cute, Kelly!

You new top note die looks awesome, it looks better than mine! Hey, no fair! Send it to me! Snort!
OMG! This is the cutest darn card ever! Don't know why...when I saw it, it made me think of Alice in Wonderland and how quite possibly she was in this house when she shrunk herself and since she was hanging on to the door knob it shrunk alongside her.....but I love sunflower checkerboard (and plain ones) trees...they rock...and so does this card...
Or, the house could be so small because that is how the high and mighty Christopher Cross Spelling III is feeling right now because a bunch of lowly teapotters bailed his butt outa the weeds! Snort!
This card is so you!! I love it and your checkerboards.....Woot!

Your salt box house is so perfect for this soon to be married couple. But as Kittie mentioned, her daddy would tell her 'there's still time to say no". W/any luck, Crisanne will living in her salt box all by herself.

Don't you hate it when some wild seeds pop up in your flower bed? But really, as bad as Chris is at getting clues, he probably won't even notice. Love, love, love your cute country scene stamped on the top note. Those sunflowers make me smile.
