Today's TLC265 challenges us to reach back to a childhood memory. Well, I'm reaching waaaaay back to sweet-16. (Yikes!) This is a replica of my girlfriend's burgundy Mustang. She worked & saved until she could buy her own car ... I think she was the first in our HS class to have accomplished such a sweet goal. It had a 3-speed stick on the floor, and I was blessed to learn how to drive a "stick" with one-on-one lessons from Joyce! Hot dawg!!! I think she "needs" this card. *wink*
Stamps are from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Love that Mustang's paint job! The herringbone looks great too and the glare on the windows...if that's with your gel pen...girl you are the queen of white gel pens...looks wonderful!
I learned on a stick in driver's ed so an automatic was like a dream come true! Boy, I'll never forget how mad the teacher got when I shifted to soon on a hill...oh well, I got parallel parking on the first try and he couldn't believe it! Showed him a thing or two!!!

What a fabulous memory!!! It's so cool that you got to share a piece of the car by getting to drive it. Your card is styling just like I bet her car was back them. I think she would really enjoy receiving this card. :>)
