TLC265 ........ memories from childhood:
When I was 6, we moved from Massachusetts to Ohio. Every vacation Dad had, we got in the car at 5 AM, and drove 26 hours to my grandparents house in Lynn MA. It was a long tedious trip. I paid no attention to the scenery until we could see the NY skyline. Then I got really excited, because I knew they were only a few hours away. Seeing NY now, I still feel that same heart-turning-over thrill!!
CAS59 .... NY,NY: (family story)
When my grandson Tommy was almost three, he and his family drove to Boston to pick up a friend who was going to be spending Easter with them. As they approached downtown, Tommy said, "Is this New York? Are we in New York City?" We never have an inkling as to what little ones know, do we? Now that's what we say on the way to Boston every time.

Terrific stories, Anne! I just love the NYC-inspired city scene you created. The old-fashioned filling station is just wonderful. What a fun card
