On the weekends I try to spend my time with my dh, so I don't usually actually make projects, but we spend time surfing the net together or I'll sit in the living room with him while he's watching sports, and I'm always on the lookout for new challenges, or coloring some images that I've already stamped or printed. Some weekends, like this one, I find lots of challenges I'd like to do, so I write them all down, and then on Monday, try to create a project with as many of the challenges as I can. So...for example, this weekend I found 4 challenges, and combined with today's SCS TLC challenge, had 5 ideas to start with. I managed to do a card with all but one of them, so here is a card to cover 4 challenges:
1. Caardvarks - create a card with lace - found here: http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/2010/03/lacy-days.html;
2. Crazy for Challenges - C4C29 - create a Spring project - found here: http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com...es-c4c29.html;
3. Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge - TESC105 - found here: http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot....lenge_19.html; and
4. Splitcoaststampers Technique Lovers Challenge - TLC265 - create a card related to a childhood memory. My childhood memory inspiration is lilacs. My mother and my grandmother both had lilacs and I always loved them! Had them myself in Maine, but you can't grow them here in Florida. There is stamping on this card on the inside - "Smile" stamp with little daisies. The fairy image is digital.

OMG - what a gorgeous image! You've colored your lilacs perfectly - I can almost smell their sweet perfume! I'm very lucky to have many lilacs and can hardly wait until they bloom... just wish they lasted longer. LOVE your card - the paper, colors and sparkly image! TFS

Oh, I love lilacs (especially their scent!) and remember building tents (from baby blankets, clothesline, and my mom's bag of clothespins) around my mom's lilac bushes all summer long!! I took cuttings of the lilacs from my childhood home and from my grandparents' home when my husband and I bought our first house so I could have my own heirloom lilacs to smell. What a wonderful childhood memory--and bright and beautiful card to go with it!! Beautiful coloring, great use of lace, fun DP, and an adorable lilac-colored brad. Super work on all of these challenges
