We made this at a stamping up gathering with Chris our demonstrator. It was a lovely design and I like how it turned out. I am guessing on some of the colors.
Nice design Chris.

Great card, Mom! I love it all, but I especially love the roof! You should share the steps to doing it....;)~ I may have to CASE this for my next class.

Becky,
We used a 1" strip with the scallop edge punch on the roof. After making the scallops we cut them in 3 1/2" - 3" - 2 1/2" - 2" and 1 1/2 " pieces (5 total) We got all the pieces out of one strip except the 1 1/2" piece. After glueing them together, we trimmed the roof into the triangle. We marked the center of the 1 1/2" top piece and then lined up from corner to center on the cutter on both sides. The cutter did not go through all the layers, but we used scissors to trim off the rest that was not cut through using the cut marks as a guide. The strip that was left after cutting the scallops is used for the birds to rest upon.
The "house" is a 2 3/4" square. If using pattern paper on the birds one set has to be cut the reverse of the other (we had to do reverse for the wings since our birds are a solid color, we could cut it out the same and just turn one over) We cut out eight of the branches. No need to get the whole stem as you are tucking the ends.
The heart is the SU heart punch. We sponged soft suede on all the pieces except the birds and branches. The branches we did not sponge. The birds were sponged in green.

What a precious lil bird house! I love it. Your use of the bird punch and that font is gorgeous!
